We held the first JHU summer school on the growth and design of bulk crystalline materials in July 2016. The school featured a combination of hands-on experience and lectures by internationally recognized crystal growth specialists, and covered a range of topics including: the history of crystal growth and its applications, the floating zone and Bridgeman crystal growth methods, the modeling of material processings, and the characterization of defects in real materials.
Videos from the lectures are available below (click on the links)!
